Welcome to the first ever InAWorld Film Festival. Below are the contest rules and regulations.

What is it?
It is a contest for the best movie trailers created with the InAWorld...Comedy app.

How do I enter?
You enter by uploading a trailer to YouTube and then posting a link to that YouTube page to the comedy contest discussion page on facebook.

What do I win?
The 10 best trailers will win a free copy of InAWorld...Drama (promo code to download the app for free). And if you already own a copy of InAWorld...Drama then you may select a promo code for any of the other Optimum Drama apps currently available on the iTunes App Store. Depending on how successful the contest is, prizes may getter better for future contests.

How are the winners decided?
The winners are chosen by a combination of QUALITY (how well done and entertaining the trailer is) and Thumbs Up on YouTube. The trailers with the most thumbs up will be nominated to the finals and the judges will determine the best trailers from those nominees.

When is the contest?
Submissions for the contest will start on Monday, January 24, 2011, 8:00 pm (PST) and end on Friday, February 11, 2011 8:00 pm (PST). All YouTube uploads and facebook postings must be dated within this period to qualify.

When are the winners announced?
Winners will be announced Monday, February 21, 2011.

Can I use any image I want?
No. As this is a public contest any image containing nudity or gore will be disqualified and removed.

Can I use the PG content that is built within the app?
Yes. But be tasteful. Any use of profanity within the trailer title, production company name and rating text will be disqualified and removed.

Can I use my own music?
No. To qualify you must use one of the stock music tracks that come with the app.

Do I need to own InAWorld...Comedy to enter?
No. Click here for more information.

Step-By-Step instructions on how to enter the contest.
1) Create a trailer and upload it to InAWorldOnline.com. This converts your images and dialog choices into a quicktime movie.
2) After receiving the confirmation email, tap the download button in the upper right hand corner of the edit view. This saves the quicktime movie version of the trailer to your Photo App in Saved Photos.
3) From your Photo App/Saved Photos/Selected Trailer tap the action button and upload the quicktime version of the trailer to YouTube. Trailer must be uploaded during the submission period.
4) Copy the YouTube page's URL and paste it into this discussion page along with the title of the trailer. YouTube link must be posted during the submission period.

How come there are so many steps? Are you getting a kickback from YouTube and facebook?
Optimum Drama and InAWorldOnline.com has no affiliation with either YouTube or facebook other than that we are members on their sites. YouTube seemed the best way to get public feedback for nominating a trailer as well as the ability to post a direct link to our facebook discussion thread. This is meant to be fun and we hope users will enjoy participating.
